Baku Girls University Participated in the 11th Baku International Book Fair

On October 4, 2025, the 11th Baku International Book Fair was held under the theme “Techno-Human: A Legend of the Past, an Event of Today”, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Students of Baku Girls University actively participated in the fair, representing the “Discussion Club” and “Humay Literary Union” under the Student Youth Organization, as well as the “Linguists’ Club” operating within the Student Scientific Society.

Aygun Jafarova, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, provided students with detailed information about the purpose and program of the event.

During the exhibition, students familiarized themselves with 41 international organizations from 18 countries and over 100 local publishing and printing companies. They also met with national writers, poets, young authors, and world-renowned literary figures, taking an active part in book signings, creative workshops, discussions on inclusion, reading sessions, and musical hours.

The fair became a valuable experience for the youth, contributing to their cultural enrichment and the expansion of creative horizons.
